| In 1970, Dr. Stanley Allen, Jr. earned his Bachelor of Science degree from
North Carolina Central University in Durham. He went on to receive his
Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry in
Washington, DC in 1974. Dr. Allen has been practicing dentistry in the
Greensboro area for 30 years. Dr. Allen is a member of several professional organizations including; American Academy of Implant Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, Old North State Dental Society, American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, Academy of General Dentistry, NC Implant Associates Study Club, Guilford County Dental Society, American Society of Dental Anesthesiology and Greensboro Medical Society. Dr. Allen has served two three-year terms on the NC State Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Allen resides in Greensboro with his wife, Yvonne. They have three grown children. In his free time, Dr. Allen enjoys aerobics, playing tennis, scuba diving and writing. Dr. Allen has published two books, African-American Prosperity; You’ll See It When You Believe It, and his first fictional novel titled Assassination of Passion. |
